Birthday Party Booking Information, T&Cs

General Booking Information

Our parties run for 90 minutes but you will have access to your selected room for 2 hours, after which time we may have another party or class. We ask that you keep to your time slot and encourage guests to leave on time. 

If we are conducting a class, the class will start 15 minutes after the start of the party and the teacher/host will be in charge from that point onwards. For classes with children under 5 years old, we may ask for parents to help with some of the art activities. For children 5 and older, parents can drop children off and the teacher will be able to assist will all aspects of the teaching.

The last 30 minutes of the class will be for eating & the birthday cake and we will ask parents to assist at this point as the teacher clears away the class materials. 

When can we arrive?

We ask that the Birthday parents arrive 10-15 minutes early for setting up and getting organised but ask that you do not arrive too much earlier as we may have a class or party before yours. Please discuss arriving earlier with our party coordinator if you are running a DIY party or are decorating yourselves.

Booking confirmation, refunds and credits

Your booking will be confirmed after we receive your deposit and receiving this form does not constitute a booking until this payment is made. We will pencil your time into your preferred slot for 24 hours but will cancel it if we have not received your deposit. 

There are no refunds however a credit may be issued if your booking is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the party. We cannot provide credit or re-schedule the event after this time. Birthday credits must be used within 2 months of the original booking. 

What to wear (Art Parties only)

Our classes are designed for kids to get dirty and have fun with paint and art materials. We encourage you to remind guests parents that both clothes and shoes may get covered in paint. Closed toe shoes are also recommended. Habitots is not responsible for any damages to clothing or personal belongings. 

Release of Liability (don't glaze over yet, this is important!)

As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless to the business doing business as Habitots, its owners, operators and franchisor from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Habitots staff, its owners and operators or on route to or from any of said premises. 

If you have any issues with the information above, please let us know asap. Please reply with a 'Agree' email which constitutes acceptance of these terms and responsibility for making a 50% deposit to hold this date, if it hasn't been made already.
